  1. Hi all, as you know, the U.S. Postal Service is raising the price of postage
  2. for an average letter to .32 cents.  Some of you may have some old .29 cent
  3. stamps around and you may not want to go out and buy the .3 cent stamps for
  4. them come January 1st.
  5.  
  6. So, if you got those stamps, send them out before the end of the month.  You
  7. only got a few days left.

  16. Hey Jaguar players!
  17.  
  18. In September, I spent several hours getting names, addresses, and
  19. information related to these well-known game software companies for you.
  20. I did this because I felt it was real important for everyone to write
  21. these companies and let them know that we want their games for the Jaguar.
  22. Since September, I have been posting four or five of these companies
  23. each month to the Internet and various systems to get the word out about
  24. this campaign.
  25.  
  26. If you haven't written them because you didn't have time, this is your last
  27. chance this year to write them.
  28.  
  29. It is extremely important for these companies to start developing for the
  30. Jaguar now.  This is because December is really the last month that
  31. developers can start developing for the Jaguar and have their game out for
  32. it by Christmas of next year.  It takes approximately nine months to
  33. develop and manufacture a real great Jaguar game.  And add another couple
  34. of months if the programmers need to get familiar with the unit.
  35.  
  36. If you are worried that Sony, Nintendo, and Sega are going to come along
  37. late next year with a $70 million advertising budget to spoil the Jaguar's
  38. fun--you should be worried!  Because that is what the companies are
  39. planning to do.
  40.  
  41. Right now, Sony, Nintendo, and Sega are attempting to convince these very
  42. companies listed in this text-file to develop for their next generation system.
  43. Atari Corp. is probably doing the same thing.  But Sony, Nintendo, and Sega
  44. are bigger players than Atari right now.  This is why we need to help Atari
  45. out a little bit by letting these companies know that we want their games for
  46. the Jaguar.
  47.  
  48. I cannot urge you enough to write these companies.  You (even though you
  49. may not realize it) play a big part in if the Jaguar succeeds or fails.
  50. Just by -one- letter to each of these companies could determine Jaguar's
  51. fate.  Your one letter can also make sure your investment in purchasing
  52. the Jaguar and several Jaguar games was a wise one.
  53.  
  54. Christmas time is about GIVING to others.  Why not give Jaguar a chance in
  55. 1995?  Write these companies.

  91. Another thing which you may want to include in this letter is concerning
  92. Jaguar DOOM II.  It is possible for id Software to release
  93. DOOM II for Jaguar next year.  If you would like to see DOOM II for the
  94. Jaguar, encourage the company to make it.  But if you do encourage them
  95. to make it, ask that it support modem and at least four players networked.
  96. Also, ask for the company to place DOOM II on cartridge so that public
  97. domain maps can be released on CD for Jaguar's CD-ROM player.  This will
  98. make sure that DOOM II -never- gets boring on the Jaguar and multi-playing
  99. is always exciting.

  104. As of December 1, 1994, Mortal Kombat II has not been announced for the
  105. Jaguar.  And Acclaim has no plans to produce Mortal Kombat for the Jaguar.
  106. But next year, WMS Industries will be able to release Mortal Kombat II for
  107. any game system that the company wishes to release it for.  The time is
  108. now to let WMS Industries know that we want to see Mortal Kombat II and
  109. Mortal Kombat III for the Jaguar.

  111. Mortal Kombat II is by far the #1 most wanted game for the Jaguar
  112. according to the Most Wanted Games for the Jaguar list by CAIN Newsletter.
  113. If this game is released for the Jaguar, the Jaguar will be the most
  114. wanted game system.

  151. Night Slam Masters.  The company also does conversions of popular titles
  152. such as Wizardry V and Eye of the Beholder.

  154. Super Street Fighter II Turbo is second only to Mortal Kombat II on the
  155. most wanted games for the Jaguar CAIN Newsletter listing.  If the game
  156. existed for the Jaguar, it would no doubt sell a lot of Jaguars.  But
  157. Capcom is not making Super Street Fighter for the Jaguar and no plans have
  158. been announced to do so in the near future.

  160. The strange thing is that Capcom is making Super Street Fighter II Turbo
  161. for the 3DO platform.  The game will even have better graphics than that
  162. on the SNES and Genesis.  But this only means that if Capcom will make a
  163. version of SSFIIT for a much higher-priced system than there is a chance
  164. that the company will be willing to make a Jaguar version.

  200. MLBPA Baseball, and many more!  Electronic Arts also owns several other
  201. software companies that they may give the OK to develop the Jaguar for if
  202. they see there is a demand for Jaguar games.

  204. Unfortunately, Electronic Arts is also a major backer of 3DO, a company
  205. that is a big competitor of Atari Corp.  Electronic Arts is spending a lot
  206. of time and money on making games for 3DO that it could be spending on
  207. the Jaguar.

  210. the company has Jaguar developers units.  Electronic Arts' management
  211. just has to give the OK to make games for the Jaguar.

  252. to release their new title, Phantasmagoria, very soon.

  292. children learn words.  This is something that Sierra has gotten away from
